Do you understand?Waking up, Thomas rubbed his eyes and struggled to see through the darkness in which the room was engulfed. A hand flailed somewhere in the vicinity of a light switch, and, upon finding it's target, pulled it on. The light flickered and the sound of shattering glass announced that the bulb had blown. Swearing loudly at nothing in particular, he got out of bed and stumbled over his trousers the night before.
